about the brand
Wrangler is refreshing fusion of premium whiskey and natural fruit flavors that will elevate your seltzer adventure. Experience the ultimate in flavor and refreshment with every can. The design of my Alcoholic Fruit Infused Whiskey Seltzer can was crafted with young adults in mind. The can features a sleek, modern aesthetic that connects style with functionality. I used bright, bold colors and dynamic patterns capture attention to create the feeling of fun and excitement, aligning with the young spirit of our target audience. The design is minimalist but the use of eye-catching graphics that make it stand out among the rest
about the brand
Typically, whiskey is not an alcohol that is associated with young adults. The goal of this product was to give whiskey a rebrand. In order to do so I began with research. I noticed very quickly the youth's fixation on alcoholic seltzers. I thought this would be a great way to market whiskey in a way that was more enjoyable for our target costumers taste buds. I wanted to incorporate the aesthetic of original whiskeys while giving it a modern twist. I began this process by creating a list of words that described emotions associated with whiskey. Words such as: rustic, classic, distinguished, charming, and noble. As I came up with these words, I came to realization that they could also be used to describe the classic betrayal of a cowboy; A character that is often associated with drinking whiskey. That process is how I came up with the aesthetic of cowboys/western for my brand design.
The next step of my process was to create illustration of all the objects associated with cowboys. I drew the illustration in a fun exaggerated style to connect to the youthfulness of my product. As a began to build my collection of illustrations I realized I was making an essentials kit for being a cowboy. That is when I came up with the tag line, "an essential part of your cowboy kit"
